In an interview with radio program Générations Europe 1, Sony Europe's Vice President Georges Fornay seems to have indicated a possible price range for Sony's next-gen console. As the answer to a question about the $500 price tag, Fornay replied that the PS3 would be in that price range, but switched over to Euros (500€ is approximately $620 USD). Sony Europe's VP said that the PS3 would be an expensive gaming machine, but relatively cheap considering the blu-ray technology included, which costs 1,000€.
