SEGA of America today announced the availability of SEGA Classics Collection on the PS2. The SEGA Classics Collection is a value-priced compilation of nine remixed arcade hits. Included in the compilation are OutRun, Space Harrier, Golden Axe, Virtua Racing, Columns, Fantasy Zone, Alien Syndrome, Monaco GP, and Bonanza Bros. All of the games have been given fresh audio tracks and graphical enhancements. SEGA Classics Collection is rated ‘T' for ‘Teen' and is available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $19.95.

Turbine announced today that it has finalized a deal with Tolkien Enterprises and Vivendi that grants Turbine the exclusive right to develop and publish massively multiplayer online worlds based on The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit literary works.
