Galactic Civilizations is designed to give players a number of ways to win, including military conquest, diplomatic alliances, economic domination, technological advancement, and other strategic methods. The game is a turn-based single player game, however players who play on Stardock.net will be able to play as part of a “metaverse” where victories, defeats and campaigns can be recorded. Strategy First has let us know that their space strategy game Galactic Civilizations (developed by Stardock) has gone gold and is expected to appear on store shalves March 25. Eidos also sent over a press release announcing that the US version of Pyro Studios' Roman Empire themed 3D RTS game Praetorians has gone gold. No release date is mentioned but online retailers have the game shipping to stores in mid-March. Praetorians is already available in Europe.
