LucasArts’ Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a new role-playing game for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, has flown off store shelves at light speed in its first two weeks of availability, selling more than 270,000 units. The game, which debuted July 16, set a new record for Xbox game sales, selling through its initial allocation in its first four days of release.

Targetware, LLC is pleased to announce the availability of the Targetware Online Flight Sim System for public download and testing.
Targetware is a massively-multiplayer, high-fidelity combat flight sim system that gives players total control over their flight sim environment. The first three flight simulators using the Targetware system, Target Rabaul (WWII), Target Korea (Korean War), and Target Flanders (WWI), can be easily downloaded from within the Targetware interface. The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, has sent a goodwill message to London Games Week and has praised the creativity of the games industry in general. Computer and video game publisher Gathering, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc today unveiled information about the characters in Space Colony, a people sim-city builder PC game. Nintendo of Europe continues to warn retailers of potential legal action over the importing of Game Boy Advance titles, with the firm now targeting those selling US versions of Advance Wars 2.
