Sony has rolled out its weekly PlayStation Store update with new tons of new material. Just like on XBL, THQ has released a demo for MX vs. ATV Untamed, while Harmonix released launch day content for Rock Band (singles & track packs). There were also price reductions ($4.99 instead of $9.99) for several PSN titles, such as Calling All Cars, Everyday Shooter, fl0w and PixelJunk Racers. New PlayStation Eye titles, Operation Creature Feature ($4.99) and Aquatopia ($1.99), were also featured, as were the usual trailers/movies.

Harmonix will release song packs ($5.49) and individual songs ($0.99 - $2.99), but there's no price on full albums yet. At launch, packs for The Police, Metallica and Queens of the Stone Age will be available as well as single songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Foreigner and T-Rex.

The Official Xbox Magazine reveals the upcoming fall X360 firmware update, launching Dec. 4, will supposedly allow you to download original Xbox titles through the Marketplace. For 1200 Microsoft points, you will initially be able to get titles such as the original Halo, Burnout 3, Crimson Skies, Fable and Fahrenheit. The Films on Demand feature will allow you to "rent" a movie instead of having to buy it, giving you two weeks to initiate the movie after rental and 24 hours to complete it.

SCEA has released several playable demos for upcoming games on the PlayStation Network, EA's NFS ProStreet (906mb) and Sierra's sci-fi shooter TimeShift (479mb). The classic PsOne title Twisted Metal 2 is now playable on PSP/PS3, and there's a slow of downloladable content for The Godfather: Don’s Edition. Game trailer wise there is a ton of stuff to watch like Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Burnout, Beowulf, GT5 Prologue, and a few movie trailers as well.

Overlord is an action adventure set in a warped fantasy world where players can be evil (or really evil). Later this month Codemasters will release 3 pieces of premium content for the X360, starting with Raising Hell, a singleplayer expansion that introduces hell to the game's 5 kingdoms, followed by The Challenge Pack (7 new maps & 2 game modes), while a free download will finally add split-screen, as well as a new multiplayer map.
