The great conflicts of the Star Wars universe become larger and more dynamic this spring with Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns, a collection of new scenarios enhancements for last year's acclaimed RTS (real-time strategy) game from LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC. Expected to release in May on the PC, Clone Campaigns is inspired by the large-scale battles in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, as well as the classic and expanded Star Wars universe.

Activision, Inc. and Totally Games highly anticipated space combat sim, Star Trek: Bridge Commander, has gone gold and is on its way to manufacturing. During the journey, players battle the Romulans, align with the Klingons, investigate the treacherous Cardassians, and reveal a secret plot that threatens the balance of power in the Alpha Quadrant. GameActive Networks is happy to announce that versions of the localized adrenaline-pumping unrelenting action Solaris 104 have just hit Poland and Italy; in Poland the game is distributed by TopWare Poland, while in Italy it's being distributed by Microforum Italia. The English wide-European version will be hitting shelves in the UK, Germany, Austria, Scandinavia, Benelux and Switzerland in the end of February (distributed by Akaei PLC), while the North American version will be hitting stores in March. Nickelodeon today named THQ Inc. master interactive licensee for several of Nickelodeon leading properties. THQ now holds exclusive, worldwide interactive rights to publish games based on all existing and future individual Nickelodeon animated TV and movie properties targeting kids ages 6-11 on every game system through 2005. Game systems include those manufactured by Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, as well as PC.
