3DO Europe today announced the release of Army Men RTS, bringing the popular real time strategy genre to the Army Men brand for PC and PS2 in March 2002. Developed by Pandemic Studios, widely-acclaimed for titles such as Dark Reign 2 and Battlezone II, Army Men: RTS is a deep and strategic adventure without the intimidation of other RTS games.

Bigben Interactive, Europe's leading independent interactive distributor, today announced a new price point for Sega's 128bit next generation online gaming console, the Dreamcast. With immediate effect the Dreamcast will retail everywhere in stores at £69.99.

Kyoto, Japan Ð Nintendo, the second-largest video-game console maker, said it will ship more GameCube consoles than planned to meet demand in the US. Kyoto-based Nintendo, which expected to sell four million GameCube consoles by March, will send "several hundred thousand more," spokesman Yasuhiro Minagawa said. Nintendo will ship 4.5 million consoles, the Nihon Keizai newspaper said on Sunday.

EA Games to release a one level internet multiplayer demo this Friday! The demo will contain one of the eleven huge maps that will ship with the full retail version on January 22, 2002.
