The most successful video game system in history is finally ready for its debut on the big screen. Nintendo today announced it will introduce the Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Player in Europe in 2003, allowing a library of more than 1,000 games designed for the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color and the current Game Boy Advance to be displayed on home televisions through the Nintendo GameCube console.

Worms Blast features all of your favorite Worms characters and 14 gameplay modes to choose from as you use your water cannon to clear puzzles and collect special weapons to take out opponents. Worms Blast is rated "E" for everyone and has an MSRP of $39.99 for GameCube and $19.99 for PC.

THQ and Volition have announced that a Nintendo Gamecube version of Summoner 2 is currently in development and will be available in early 2003. "Summoner 2" for Gamecube is being developed by Cranky Pants Games, THQ's newest game development studio located in Seattle, Washington. Summoner 2 is the sequel to one of the PlayStation 2's top-selling launch titles, Summoner. Developed by Volition, creators of Red Faction. Summoner 2 for PlayStation 2 is available now at retail stores nationwide.

Infogrames, Inc. is bringing the Company’s hit PlayStation2 game, Men in Black II: Alien Escape, based on the smash movie franchise under license from Sony Pictures Consumer Products Inc., to the Nintendo GameCube. Activision, Inc. today announced that WRECKLESS: The Yakuza Missions, its mission-based driving game for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft, will shift into overdrive on the Nintendo GameCube this November. Like the upcoming PlayStation2 computer entertainment system version, the Nintendo GameCube title will feature all of the ultra-realistic pulse-pounding missions of the Xbox game, plus 20 all-new missions, two-player action, 16 more vehicles to drive with mounted rockets, new sub-missions, interaction with pedestrians, 60 fps gameplay and a "Free Roam" mode.
