Missed this one yesterday, but Crave Entertainment announced that its latest Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title, UFC: Throwdown for Nintendo GameCube computer entertainment system has shipped to retailers. Crave shipped UFC: Throwdown for the PlayStation2 earlier this month.

Crave just let us know that the Nintendo GameCube version of 'UFC Throwdown' has gone gold and is currently in manufacturing for retail delivery. The game is expecpted to be on shelves July 30th 2002.

Electronic Arts announced today that it has reached an agreement with Pierce Brosnan to use the famous Bond actor’s likeness in their upcoming video game, James Bond 007: NightFire™. The game, which uses an original storyline created exclusively for the interactive project, is based on the Bond universe and will be released worldwide the same month as the newest 007 film starring Brosnan, "Die Another Day" produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. NightFire is currently under development and is scheduled for a simultaneous release on the PlayStation2 , Xbox, GameCube and PC. Titus Interactive’s stunning Game Cube conversion of Top Gun: Combat Zones, its PlayStation 2 smash, will now take off in September 2002. The game, being developed by flight sim aces Digital Integration, is being held on the runway for a couple of months to allow the team to complete final preparations prior to take-off – ensuring that when it does take to the skies, Game Cube owners will be treated to one of the most explosive combat game on the format.
