Electronic Arts announced today that it has reached an agreement with Pierce Brosnan to use the famous Bond actor’s likeness in their upcoming video game, James Bond 007: NightFire™. The game, which uses an original storyline created exclusively for the interactive project, is based on the Bond universe and will be released worldwide the same month as the newest 007 film starring Brosnan, "Die Another Day" produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. NightFire is currently under development and is scheduled for a simultaneous release on the PlayStation2 , Xbox, GameCube and PC. The 3DO Company today announced the development of the first Sarge’s Heroes title for the Nintendo GameCube, Army Men: Sarge’s War. The Sarge’s Heroes games were some of the most successful third-party titles for the Nintendo 64, having sold over a million units between the two games. The Army Men: Sarge’s War game is planned to ship in Spring 2003.
