Sony Computer Entertainment America pops the cork on its ninth anniversary of the PS2, making its debut on October 26, 2000. Nine years later the PS2 is still making its way into living rooms around the world and welcoming a new generation of gamers, some of whom were not even born when the system launched.

Last month, Bethesda filed suit against Interplay for their inability to move forward with the Fallout MMO, making digital distribution deals with GOG and Steam for its back catalog and repackaging products that have not been approved by Bethesda. It seems the preliminary injunction has been denied for various reasons, one being the complex language of the contract (e.g., the MMO required a $30M budget, but does not require Interplay to have spent it all).
