A number of features have been improved and a few bugs have been fixed. This Auto-Update will give gamers an even greater pleasure in playing than it already has. Ubisoft has announced that they are getting ready to release (mid May)a new v1.2 patch for their recently released stealth/action game Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. Word is that "Special attention has been paid to comments from players who've had difficulties joining servers. The development team has done everything possible to improve this part of the game. Our objective was to reduce the amount of time spent in the menus."

Ubisoft today announced that Ubisoft's Montreal studio is currently developing Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell 3 (Working Title), the next installment in the now-legendary Splinter Cell franchise. The Splinter Cell titles have consistently received some of industry's highest-ever review scores and most prestigious awards, and have sold, cumulatively, more than 6 million copies worldwide. Splinter Cell 3 will be shown for the first time ever in a theater-style demo at Ubisoft's E3 booth - #1046 in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is scheduled for a PC launch in late 2004.

Last week gamers who purchased Ubisoft's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow for the Xbox, experienced an Xbox Live problem, today Ubisoft issued the following statement : "Some gamers who acquired the Xbox version of Ubisoft's critically acclaimed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow have experienced problems using the game's online multiplayer features. Specifically, after logging onto Xbox Live and selecting the "optimatch" function, players discovered that waiting for more than about 10 seconds on the optimatch results screen causes the game to freeze indefinitely." As we announced yesterday, Ubisoft held an irc community chat last night and while there was not much new being said the only REAL interesting part was the fact that Ubisoft Producer Domitille Doat revealed 'Splinter Cell : Pandora Tomorrow' has been approved by Microsoft, meaning it went gold. Not quite sure whether this counts for both the Xbox as well as the PC version, but we assume so. Now that the cat is out of the bag, an official announcement should be available soon. . 'Splinter Cell : Pandora Tomorrow' is expected in stores March 25th.
