Another weekend has passed, and so did another PAX Prime, However, we spent most of our time doing errands, watching Green Lantern cartoon (starring
Nathan Fillion as the voice of
Hal Jordan), and of course some APB Reloaded as well as Deus Ex.
Next weekend is Labor Day, so we're having the in-laws over, and then the weekend after that we're going on a little trip to New York, sight-seeing, visiting some friends, going to the US Open tennis finale, that sort of stuff. Should be fun, especially now that Hurricane Irene has left the building.

On Friday, we saw
The Change-Up, and I can't figure out why it got somewhat of a bad rap when it came out. Granted, it wasn't on our must-see ASAP list, and the only reason we watched it was because we had free tickets for an older movie, but it was quite entertaining. There were some cheap laughs and funny situations. The meaning of life was not imparted, and the outcome was predictable, but the journey was laugh-out-loud satisfying.
No other movies on our radar at the moment, but later this week, we'll go to an advance screening of
Warrior, and then we're looking forward to
Real Steel.
Until then, more
Deus Ex!

Deus Ex: Human Revolution started off a bit slow, guiding you through the mechanics and story at first, but once you are let loose into the city to wander, things pick up. Lots of talking to people, hacking doors and computers, uncovering conspiracies and so forth. Good stuff.

official Twitter feed, so if you haven't picked up your copy yet (be aware,
Gamestop will rob you of your OnLive code) then here's your chance.
