The Settlers V: Heritage of Kings - Legends is scheduled for release in September and will feature 4 campaigns, 17 missions, new singleplayer as well as multiplayer maps, improved editor. One of the main additions is more interaction with the environment, a new landscape type (coastal) and a little bit more focus on building structures.

'International Sport Shooting 2006' Announced

German publisher dtp announced today that it has signed an agreement with Independent Arts, known for games such as Against Rome, and Warcommander, for its newest game International Sport Shooting 2006. Not many details were revealed yet, but Independent Arts said ISS 2006 will feature several disciplines, amonst others skeet shooting, various rifle and gun classes, while factors such as wind and respiration will add to the realistic nature of the game, currently scheduled for October 2005.

Criterion is working full speed on their latest Burnout 3 edition, but a few months ago at E3 it was also revealed that they are developing a brand new console shooter, "Black." While Criterion is new to the FPS genre, they have the utmost confidence that their modern day shooter will bring never before seen intensity. In Black you play as an American Covert Ops soldier going up against all sorts of foes in an Eastern European setting.

Activision Value No Longer Publishing MadMinute Games

'Serious Sam II' Will Get Deathmatch Patch

Take2's Serious Sam II multiplayer details announcement yesterday stirred up a bit of a ruckus due to the lack of any deathmatch support, and today fan site Seriously! received confirmation from developer Croteam it will release a patch after the game's initial launch that will add/enable multiplayer deathmatch. Whether this was initially plannend or due to fanbase pressure was not specified.

'Black & White 2' - Screens

Black & White 2 includes other new elements, such as improved graphics and Miracle effects such as rivers of fire and earthquakes that yield mass destruction. The game also includes weather systems that impact gameplay; players will see the impact of a drought that scorches the arid plains of Egypt or the effect of a heavy snowfall on the Norse Mountains.

'Bounty Hounds' (PSP) Announced - Screens

True Crime: New York City will follow another policeman through the meticulously re-created streets of a real-life metropolitan area. However, instead of the wisecracking LAPD detective Nick Kang, gamers will now play as Marcus Reed, a former gang member turned NYPD officer. Though few details about TC:NYC have been revealed, it will presumably have a similar moral-ambiguity system where Marcus can be either a good or a (very) bad cop.
