R-Type Tactics, also known as R-Type Command, is a deviation from the usual shoot'em up genre into the tactical/RPG genre, giving you a chance to see all the units and enemies up close and personal, in 3D, while adding 2 player vs mode. Trademark detectives SA have uncovered that Mechner recently filed Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands, and Ubisoft character modeler Marc-Antoine senecal's CV stated that, since Aug. 2009, he has been working on "the new Prince of Persia game," which in the meantime has been changed to "Working on the best game ever."
