Dante's Inferno is a 3rd action adventure adaptation of the medieval epic poem "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri, telling the tale of Dante who journeys through the twisted, menacing nine circles of hell in pursuit of his beloved Beatrice. After receiving a storm of negative feedback for its booth babe picture-taking contest, which offered a "sinful night with two hot girls" as well as dinner, booty and more, EA apologized for "any confusion and offense," basically claiming it was a joke.

1C Company and Battlefront.com announced a new expansion pack for its tactical WWII strategy title Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943, dedicated to the 131st Armored Division Centauro and the battles it took part in North Africa starting from December 1942 till mid-May 1943.

Trine is a fantasy action game where the player can create and use physics-based objects to beat hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. Set in a world of great castles and strange machinery, three heroes are bound to a mysterious device called the Trine in a quest to save the kingdom from evil.

Originally released on the PS2 in 2002, Armored Core 3 is getting ported to the PSP, with the addition of a multiplayer mode. The game is based around one entity that ruled the world, The Controller. Earlier this year, EA agreed to a deal extension with Crytek to publish Crysis 2. In late 2003, Ubisoft released its action/adventure Beyond Good & Evil, but unfortunately sales numbers were disappointing, and the franchise was abandoned. Since the UbiDays 08 teaser, not much has been said, apart from Ubisoft's Michel Ancel revealing that BG&E 2 will be more complex and immersive than the original. However, in a recent interview, Ubi's Laurent Detoc said that all is not certain; the decision to actually release a sequel, even though it is/was being worked on, is not definitive.
