While the weekend is being dominated by PAX, Microsoft Japan held its 4th annual press conference in Tokyo, where it ran through its fall lineup of titles. Starting off with showing that hardware sales have spiked, especially since the Tales of Vesperia launch last month, Microsoft revealed it is bringing over Fable 2, Fallout 3, HAWX, Mass Effect, Oblivion and Winning Eleven. New titles revealed are Namco-Bandai/KOEI's mecha game Dynasty Warriors GUNDAM 2 and From Software's cinematic action game Ninja Blade, produced by Lost Planet's designer Keiji Nakoka. Microsoft also announced it is cutting the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade model by 8,000 yen ($73.92) to 19,800 yen (making it cheaper than the Wii), as well as the 2 hard drive-enabled models by 5,000-8,000 yen.

Golden Axe: Beast Rider, developed by Secret Level, delivers action-RPG thrills as a small band of Riders embark on an epic adventure to recruit allies, expose the enemy and prevent the annihilation of their breed.

Dragon Age: Origins represents BioWare’s return to its roots, delivering a fusion elements of existing fantasy works with emotionally-driven narrative, heart-pounding combat, powerful magic abilities and credible digital actors. Today, Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, marks the 13th anniversary of the Command & Conquer franchise, and to celebrate, EA is giving away the original C&C Red Alert for free.

Set 500 years after the original game, Fable 2 will offer even more choices and features, while building on the core gameplay theme of Fable where every choice continually defines who you become, allowing you to truly live the life you choose. Lionhead revealed that when the game’s official website relaunches it will include a web game or two that allows you to earn Fable 2 gold and unlock 6-7 special items, like dye pots and a chicken suit, for the game.

Crystal Dynamics has made Tomb Raider Underworld more realistic with fluid movements due to motion capturing. After last week's leak Microsoft has issued updated achievements, while Epic's Cliff Bleszinski revealed that "we're not going to do a PC version this time around."
