The Last Remnant is a completely original single-player RPG game set in a lush, real time fantasy world, with two main characters, each one appealing to a specific territory. Square Enix revealed that the PS3 delay is due the game using the Unreal Engine 3, which has a slower development on the PS3 side saying "It was only really workable after Unreal Tournament was published, so this was mainly a development decision."
