The Witcher is an action RPG, combining features of such games as Dungeon Siege, Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, Gothic and Neverwinter Nights, incorporating a simple-yet-interesting game system, along with a complex plot and attractive 3D graphics. When Atari signed The Witcher it was set for Sept. 2007, which has now been pushed back to October.

CDV announced that it is working on a new expansion for its WWII RTS game Blitzkrieg 2. The Liberation addon is set near the end of the second world war and will add 2 entire new Western front campaings set in Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands and France, and will of course also include plenty of new units, maps, and game modes.

Last month EA promised the new v1.06 patch for its 3D sci-fi RTS C&C3: Tiberium Wars to be released in July, and it seems it is keeping its word. C&C community manager Apoc revealed that the patch has passed QA and is scheduled for release tomorrow. The new patch fixes the invincibility exploit, increases disconnect reporting, fixes the Cloaking field bug, and plenty more. A v1.07 patch is already in the works, and is expected soon ...
