Take 2 today announced preliminary net sales of $1.2 billion for its 2005 fiscal year and Q4 net sales of $308 million. The results reveal that College Hoops 2K6 and Top Spin 2 have been pushed back from Q1 to Q2 2006 to provide additional time for development. A few new games were also introduced, including the port of GTA: Liberty City Stories to a current-gen console (most likely the PS2), and two new titles for the PSP, including an all-new GTA offering.

Capcom today announced its first title for Xbox Live Arcade, Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting. In addition to several offline modes and numerous leaderboards and achievements, the game takes advantage of the new online features of Xbox 360 to create a seamless online multiplayer experience.

VU Games today announced that it has completed the purchase of independent developer, High Moon Studios. After meeting online their conversations progressed to sending e-mails, and web cam videos, including obscene clips.
