Blizzard has released yet another new Warcraft III map, this time called "Banewood Bog"... Map info: "This land is truly cursed. Rivers of poison, filled with demonic bile, eat away at the earth. Ancient wyrms, terrible and great, slumber quietly within the mire. Perhaps you know of a dragon slayer, jobless, up for hire." This is a large map size and the suggested no. of players is 2v2, or 4v4. It is based on the "Felwood" tileset.

Lionhead has put word on the official Black & White 2 website that the game is amost finished and announced the actual launch dates. "The Black&White 2 team are proud to announce the official pack shot of the game! You can find it here. The game will be released in stores on September 30th in the US, and October 7th in Europe. The new game will follow the plot of the original "From Russia with Love" film, including the battle on the Orient Express and the boat chase sequence, but will expand the story with new action sequences. The development team approached the game as a director's cut of the film, which will allow the player to utilize such cool toys as the jetpack and a Q-copter as well as the trusty Walther PPK handgun.

Electronic Arts and Nintendo announced today a partnership that brings the Nintendo All-Stars -- Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach -- to the Nintendo GameCube version of SSX On Tour, scheduled to launch this fall under the EA SPORTS BIG brand. Metroid Prime Hunters will launch Q1 of 2006, complete with access to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, Nintendo's upcoming online gaming service, which will debut before the end of the year. The new single-player mission of Metroid Prime Hunters will be playable this weekend at the Penny Arcade Expo in Bellevue, Wash, where people can see three previously unreleased bounty hunter characters in the game.
