Vivendi today announced that Robots is currently in development by Eurocom Entertainment Software (console/PC) and Griptonite Games (GBA) for a first quarter 2005 launch to coincide with the theatrical release of the Robots film. Based upon 20th Century Fox's CG animated feature film releasing on March 11, 2005 the game will place players in the role of the film's hero Rodney Copperbottom, as he sets off on thrilling adventures through the living worlds of the Robots movie.

More Doom 3 release date speculations have surfaced today as both EBGames and Gamestop are listing an August 3rd release date for the PC version of Activision/Id Software's DOOM 3. Going an extra step further Gamestop even claims "Official launch date of August 3rd, 2004 confirmed!". We tried to contact several Activision PR people and everywhere we got the same "no comment".
