Bugbear Entertainment announces Flat-Out, a new generation racing title with convincing driving feel, plenty of attitude and shredded bits of car ricocheting around. Flat-Out is a adrenaline-inducing racing game with a story, spectacular crashes and not too serious attitude in the best movie-like fashion. The thrill and terror of racing light, cheap and often very dented cars in constant close proximity and contact with other cars brings out white-knuckled racing spirit as the player faces rapidly changing situations all the time. In third person mode, player can rummage around the pit areas eyeing out competitor's cars, stop by at a bar for the latest gossips, fix and tune his car and interact with other characters in game, executing small missions related to the story behind player's character.

Mindfire Entertainment has added another video game to its lineup of feature film projects. The company has secured the rights to Sega's ninja video game franchise "Shinobi." The popular 15-year-old arcade game has been reinvented as a 3-D action-adventure PlayStation 2 exclusive and ships for retail Nov. 12.

EA Games will release a stand-alone demo for 'Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead', the new expansion pack for the highly acclaimed WWII action PC game, Medal of Honor Allied Assault. The demo will be available on Friday, November 8, 2002 from the official Medal of Honor Allied Assault website at http://www.mohaa.ea.com/. The downloadable demo will feature Malta, a multiplayer level exclusive to the demo and not included in the full version of the game. The demo will also include new skins for British, Russian, American and German troops as well as unveiling some of the new weapons! Videogame publisher Konami of America Inc. announced today that its popular Winning Eleven series (known in Europe as Pro Evolution Soccer) will be published for the first time in North America. European and Japanese versions of Winning Eleven have sold nearly 4 million units worldwide, making it the world’s best-selling soccer game for the PlayStation 2. In response to considerable demand from North American consumers, Konami intends to continue the series’ success with the launch of it latest installment, Winning Eleven 6, on the PlayStation 2 in March 2003.
