'Metal Gear Solid' (PSP) Revealed

In his latest podcast, Hideo Kojima confirmed the development of a MGS installment for the PSP, scheduled for fall 2007. Set in the 1970's, the PSP iteration will be set between MGS 3 and 4, and explain Foxhound's origin, and have Big Boss as the main character. Unlike the recent cardbased games, the new title will be an action game, wi-fi enabled, graphically on par with the franchise on PS2, feature several alternative pathways & solutions to missions and oddly enough the game will feature no "continues," when soldiers die, they are not coming back. How well that will translate in actual gameplay will hopefully explain itself later...

Pro Cycling Manager 2006/2007 is the latest edition in Cyanide Studio's long running cycling manager. For the first time in the life of the Cycling Manager series, the German T-Mobile team will be present, making Discovery Channel the only Pro Tour squad not available in PCM 2006/2007.

Today 3D Realms posted their latest installment in the weekly Prey update in which, for a change, Human Head Studios' Jason L Blair talks about beta testing, and plans for the MultiPrey tournament at E3. As Jason is Director of the Adventure Game Division, he usually deals with board games and talks about the story and writing he has done for Prey.

'Call of Duty 3' (Wii/PS3/X360) Revealed

Through the eyes of four Allied soldiers, Call of Duty 3 brings players closer to the fury of combat as they fight through the Normandy Breakout, the harrowing offensive that liberated Paris and changed the fate of the world. Developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty 3 is scheduled for a 2006 release. Activision promises to reveal more details at next week's E3, but so far this seems to be a console only title.
