Midway today announced that its hard-hitting, lifestyle-driven football videogame, Blitz: The League has reached Greatest Hits status for the PS2, as well as Platinum Hits status for the Xbox.

Dead Rising is survival horror game, in which you play Frank West, a freelance photographer who has made his way to an idyllic suburban town to get his hands on the scoop. He soon discovers that the town has been overrun with zombies, and while fighting off hordes of gruesome zombies, you have to discover the cause of the disturbing outbreak.

Last weekend America’s top gamers competed in the inaugural World Cyber Games US Open at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, an invitation-only tournament, to determine who would qualify for a spot in the WCG US National Final.
