Square Enix today revealed that it is working on a new title in their Grandia franchise. Unlike previous installments the new product will be an MMORPG, bringing the series online for the very first time. Under development at Gung Ho Entertainment, in collaboration with Game Arts, Grandia Online is currently schedule for release on the PC, although with nextgen consoles going full out with online capabilities it might be possible that we will see console ports in the distant future.

While there were still no playable PS3 games at the TGS 2005, Sony Computer Entertainment did reveal an impressive list of 102 PS3 titles, either scheduled or already in development for its next gen console, as well as a list of no less than 71 publishers who expressed their support. Lumines creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi has unveiled his newest PSP creation, Every Extend Extra. As with most of his other titles gameplay and music are closely intertwined and are equally important in the game experience. E3 is a mix between shoot'm up and strategy, as you have to provoke chain reactions by avoiding enemy fire. Not too many details were disclosed yet, but Every Extend Extra is expected in Japanese stores January 2006, so more will be revealed in the near future.
