Fund4Games Picks Up Acclaim Europe Titles

Project management and funding specialists Fund4Games has acquired the assets of videogames publisher Acclaim Europe, which went into administration in 2004. Two titles which were in production at Acclaim's Manchester Studio are now being completed and Fund4Games is actively seeking publishing partners for Interview With A Made Man and ATV3.

Animaniacs: The Great Edgar Hunt is a third-person action adventure, which brings the colourful and hysterical world of the Animaniacs wonderfully to life. Players must guide the Warner brothers...and sister – Wakko, Yakko and Dot – through six levels in a quest to locate the hidden Edgar trophies. Each Animaniac has his or her own special abilities, and each must be used in order to fully explore the luscious landscapes.

FBI Shuts Down SNES Piracy Operation

The FBI has arrested four Chinese nationals in New York for allegedly distributing video game consoles that contain Nintendo's famous game software. With approximately 40 FBI agents, they seized more than 60,000 illegal products during five raids on April 13. The illegal products, marketed under the brand name "Power Player," contain dozens of pirated versions of popular Nintendo games like Donkey Kong, Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt.
