Sammy Studios Inc. today announced a new sequel based on the powerhouse Guilty Gear anime fighting series, coming to PlayStation2 in Q1 2003. Guilty Gear X2 promises to deliver the next-generation of blistered thumbs, bringing players the fastest, most visually stunning 2D fighter on the PS2. Based on the franchise now famous for its unique, out-of-this-world characters, stunningly detailed graphics and lightning-paced and fluid gameplay, Guilty Gear X2 will combine a number of firsts and new features with the trademarks that have propelled the series to the forefront of 2D anime fighters.
