Gears of War 3 plunges players into a harrowing tale of hope, survival, and brotherhood that concludes the current story arc for Gears of War. With the last human city destroyed and the remaining survivors stranded, time is running out for Marcus and his comrades as they fight to save the human race from the jaws of extinction.

Everybody's favorite monkeys AiAi, MeeMee, Baby and GonGon are back for more banana collecting fun. With unique functions, the game continues the motion-based experience of the previous adventure whilst making full use of the dual analog sticks and front/back-touch controls.

Pit makes his return in Kid Icarus: Uprising. The world is 3-D, and combat is split between land and air.

Beyond the holiday season, Nintendo is already making plans for 2012. Nintendo is revealing a previously unannounced 3D Mario tennis game for the 3DS, as well as a new title in the Luigi’s Mansion franchise.

Super Mario 3D Land is the first-ever true 3D Mario platforming adventure, where players can scout levels and find secrets before they play using the built-in gyro sensor feature of the Nintendo 3DS system. The game will feature propeller blocks and will have StreetPass functionality.

After a lengthy, but smooth, flight, we've arrived home safe and sound from our New York trip. The fun is over, and now it's back to work.

A few interesting observations from NYC: It does indeed never sleep. There's always stuff happening left and right, the street vendor food smells SO good, the subway stations are warm and humid, and while there are less stinky bums lying around, the people in general smell more. We ate so much over the past week, we're on a diet for the rest of the month to make up for it.

Haven't been able to play games all week (the laptop is a dual core but has a crappy video card in it), so I'm itching to play some more Dead Island, Deus Ex and APB Reloaded.

This November, a new system update for the 3DS will enable owners to capture 3D video footage, or create their own original 3D productions and show them to others in 3D, all without the need for special glasses.

Ben 10: Galactic Racing allows fans to enjoy a Ben 10 multiplayer experience like never before, as you compete to become champion of the Galactic Grand Prix, as Ben, Kevin or 13 alien heroes in an over-the-top, high-speed race through insane tracks on five different planets.

While not providing any specific details, Capcom revealed at  Nintendo's Tokyo Game Show press briefing that it is currently developing the next installment in the series for 3DS.
