With a fresh infusion of real world detail and blistering racing action, NASCAR The Game 2011 completely redefines what fans can expect from a NASCAR racing game.

The newest chapter of the fight franchise marks a return to the series’ mature presentation and a reinvention of its classic 2D fighting mechanic. Driven by an all new graphics engine, the Fatality is back, presented in more gory detail than ever before, as well as a number of new game-play features and a deep story mode.

Set in a post-ice-age world in the distant future,  the game focuses on survival and exploration. As a random survivor of  this harsh world, you decide what impact to make on it.

Star Sentinel Tactics is a turn-based tactics game that puts you in command of a squad of elite United Alliance marines - aka the Star Sentinels - as they battle to stop a race of bloodthirsty reptilians launching a devastating attack on our Galaxy.

"The Eagle" wasn't as epic as we had hoped, since a great part of the movie revolved around two people wandering around and looking for their esteemed emblem. It's still a fairly decent movie, but we had hoped for more large-scale battles. Instead there was a somewhat excessive amount of talking. Who knew?

This week kicks off GDC, which we will be attending, so there should be quite a bit of coverage coming up.

After playing Bulletstorm for a few days, I'm nearing the end, and while I've been enjoying it, I can't say that I would shell out $60 for it. It's quite obvious that People Can Fly, now part of Gears Of War developer Epic, is using the Unreal Engine and got its inspiration from the aforementioned game. There are many similarities, such as the identical firing mechanism, comparable character designs and the same way of jumping over obstacles.

Staying true to the franchise's original roots, Silent Hill 8 returns with another third-person horror experience, and an all-new thought provoking storyline.  Players once again find themselves face-to-face with their deepest sins and fears in the strange world of Silent Hill.

Yesterday, we saw "Unknown," and everybody liked the movie. It was decent, but the plot twist near the end made it good, so if you are on the fence about seeing it, have at it.

In a bit, we're going to see "The Eagle," and while we know it won't be a stellar performance, movies with large-scale battles are always better in the theater. Will report back later tonight...

Trapped Dead is a tactical real time strategy game where you and your friends control your characters in a 3rd person isometric view through a mature Zombie survival scenario inspired by the successful Horror movies of the early 80s.

Chalk this one up to a lazy day ...

Off to see Unknown. So far, feedback from our friends is all over the place; some liked it, but others didn't, so hopefully it's decent.
