Yesterday we watched the U.S. Open women's finale and witnessed Serena Williams lose not only the match but her temper. She took out her subpar tennis out on the umpire by arguing a call, which ended up getting her a penalty and costing her the first set. While Samantha Stosur played good, solid tennis, Serena lost it on her own. My advice to Ms. Williams: less attitude, more tennis.

Now if only Kim Clijsters had been there!

We certainly didn't plan it this way, but we're in NYC on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. There are numerous memorials throughout the city to commemorate the lives lost on that day. There seems to be a police car on every corner, and firefighters from all over the world are in town for the memorial.
