Wow, that was a rather quiet news day yesterday. There wasn't much happening at all. I'm afraid that we're going to be seeing more of those from here on out, as most companies are pushing out their holiday titles, and not much new stuff will be coming until next year.

While most normal businesses have their holidays over the summer, the video game industry usually shuts down over the holidays. Maybe the Video Game Awards will bring some excitement next month ....

At new SpikeTV teaser advertising the upcoming Video Game Awards has Epic's Cliff Bleszinski revealing that there will be some news about Gears Of War "that will have everyone talking." While Bleszinki did not go into any particular details, he did say that they will be "showing off some new Gears Of War gameplay," and that "it's not what you are expecting." Could this be the rumored Gears Of War Kinect, more DLCs, or flat out Gears Of War 3? We'll know more Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at 8PM ET / 5PM PT.
