Yesterday was quite the interesting day. We decided to check out the local Art & Soul Festival. While neither topic is exactly of major interest to us (not that we're cultural heathens or anything), we were mainly there to check out all the street food vendors and ... MC Hammer! That's right, Mr. "Can't Touch This" was performing. While we may be 20 years late, we couldn't pass up on the chance to see his baggy pants hop around stage. Unfortunately, the area was so massivly packed that we didn't see a damn thing. People  even climbed on statues and street poles just to get a glimpse of the performance. Can't figure out why wasn't he on the main stage, which was much larger. After only 20 minutes of hearing MC Hammer, we bailed and went home to watch She's Out Of My League, which turned out to be hilariously funny and even somewhat romantic.

The newest chapter of the fight franchise marks a return to the series’ mature presentation and a reinvention of its classic 2D fighting mechanic. Driven by an all new graphics engine, the Fatality is back, presented in more gory detail than ever before, as well as a number of new game-play features and a deep story mode.

Last night we entertained some friends for dinner, wine, and a movie. A good time was had by all.

We watched The Fourth Kind with Milla Jovovich and Will Patton, which was much better than we'd anticipated. Whether or not you believe in what transpired, it is quite interesting and was left open for interpretation. It had us discussing for quite a bit afterward, analyzing the movie, the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and so forth. It was fueled by wine and beer, so it was quite fun either way.

Set in Southern Europe during the middle ages, Lords of Shadow has beautifully-realized locales that play host to an epic battle between good and evil.

All Points Bulletin (APB) takes the universal theme of Criminals and Enforcement and brings it to a persistent, open world multiplayer setting in a modern, crime-ridden city. Earlier this week RTW went into admininstration, laid off part of its staff, but vowed to keep support for APB rolling with patches and keeping the servers up. Today RTW re-hired part of the staff it let go earlier this week, so things might be looking up, if only slightly.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Ep. I offers 2D gameplay through rendered HD environments, allowing you to speed through each level with the classic Spin Dash move, and destroy enemies using the Homing Attack, as well as sees the return of the special stages and takes players through a variety of different Zones, all inspired by the Mega Drive era.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 plunges fans into an explosive environment where they can become elite aerial soldiers in control of the world's most technologically advanced aircraft. While the X360 version is still on track, Ubisoft Europe has pushed back the release date for HAWX2 by a week on PS3, a few weeks on PC, and Wii release date is unknown at this point.
