We kicked off the weekend in style! We stuffed our faces with delicious food, plopped ourselves on the couch and watched John Stewart's Daily Show (with President Obama) and Supernatural. Prior to that, I hopped and skipped from one game to another, checked out Dogfighter, Vindictus, Medal of Honor multiplayer and Global Agenda, but nothing could really hold my attention for more than 30 minutes. Tonight, we have a dinner date with some friends, and we're in charge of making cupcakes for dessert. Tasty!

IO Interactive, known for developing Hitman and Kane & Lynch, has been hit by as many as 35 layoffs, revealed by none other than 3D Realms' George Broussard who tweeted, "Layoffs at Io Interactive (Kane&Lynch/Hitman). As many as 35, and a project canceled. - Tis' the season." Square Enix confirms that an unspecified number of employees were let go, and neither were any specifics given on the so called canceled title.
