Last night we entertained some friends for dinner, wine, and a movie. A good time was had by all.

We watched The Fourth Kind with Milla Jovovich and Will Patton, which was much better than we'd anticipated. Whether or not you believe in what transpired, it is quite interesting and was left open for interpretation. It had us discussing for quite a bit afterward, analyzing the movie, the possibility of extraterrestrial life, and so forth. It was fueled by wine and beer, so it was quite fun either way.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a new action-adventure IP, a story of one man’s journey to discover the true meaning of sacrifice amidst murder and betrayal. Set in Southern Europe during the middle ages, Lords of Shadow has beautifully-realized locales that play host to an epic battle between good and evil.

All Points Bulletin (APB) takes the universal theme of Criminals and Enforcement and brings it to a persistent, open world multiplayer setting in a modern, crime-ridden city. Earlier this week RTW went into admininstration, laid off part of its staff, but vowed to keep support for APB rolling with patches and keeping the servers up. Today RTW re-hired part of the staff it let go earlier this week, so things might be looking up, if only slightly.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Ep. I offers 2D gameplay through rendered HD environments, allowing you to speed through each level with the classic Spin Dash move, and destroy enemies using the Homing Attack, as well as sees the return of the special stages and takes players through a variety of different Zones, all inspired by the Mega Drive era.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 plunges fans into an explosive environment where they can become elite aerial soldiers in control of the world's most technologically advanced aircraft. While the X360 version is still on track, Ubisoft Europe has pushed back the release date for HAWX2 by a week on PS3, a few weeks on PC, and Wii release date is unknown at this point.
