There just might be a stereovision PC in your Christmas stocking this year according to industry research and consulting firm Jon Peddie Research, which has just completed an in-depth look at the emerging Stereo 3D (S3D) PC market.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes Of Light, previously known as Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden, boasts beautiful picture book visuals and an easy to control battle system. The game goes back to the basics and origins of the franchise, with a classic story of four young heroes embarking on an unforgettable adventure; a tale of dragons, kings, princesses and witches.

Men of War: Assault Squad is a stand-alone expansion that features a completely new cooperative skirmish game mode with access to five different nations (Russia, Germany, USA, Commonwealth and – for the first time ever in the Men of War series – Japan) as well as increased realism and accessibility.

As for the "Prince of Persia" movie screening on Tuesday night, it's the best video game movie so far. That might sound like a backhanded compliment, but it's not. The film had really high production value, lots of action, and a few references to the video game series (though we also saw some crossover with Assassin's Creed). The creative and complicated fight sequences were good and changed things up to keep you guessing. There's an overly long sequence near the end that kills the flow of the movie, but overall, we liked it and would recommend it.
