Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock redefines music gaming with an all-new, story-driven Quest Mode, a completely redesigned rock-inspired guitar controller, the biggest on-disc selection of rock music in a Guitar Hero game and Quickplay+, which invites challenge-starved fanatics to test their rock skills.

Men of War: Vietnam is a new game in the series, with two new story-driven campaigns let you taste the explosive mix of the jungle, Hueys and rock-n-roll in 1968.

Set in a sprawling, haunted woodland, the player is taken across 12 levels of child-like imagination and mayhem, Tommy Tronic is a 2D platform game with a very colorful and fluid environment.

King's Bounty is an adventure game with tactical turn-based battles and role-playing elements unfolding in a rich fantasy world. The King's Bounty: Crossworlds expansion features two new campaigns and a massive expansion, dozens of new quests, new items, spells and creatures.

Sony has rolled out new PlayStation Store content, starting with a slew of markdowns, Qore Ep. 28, TerRover (and demo), demos for Sengoku BASARA: Samurai Heroes, Quantum Theory, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole, DLCs for BUZZ!, Dragon Age: Origins, Mafia II, Transformers: War For Cybertron, Clash Of The Titans, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, UFC Undisputed 2010, song packs for Guitar Hero 5, Rock Band, the usual game/movie trailers, and PS3 themes, and downloadable PSP/PS0ne games (Ace Combat Joint Assault, Ace Armstrong Vs. The Alien Scumbags, and Hannspree Ten Kate Honda SBK Superbike World Championship).

Most of the big video game conferences are over — E3, GamesCom, Comic-Con, PAX — so from here on out, we're in end-of-the-year mode. Most companies will start preparing their year-end lineups shortly, so we have quite a few busy months ahead of us.

We watched a few more episodes of Dexter last night and wrapped up season one. The show revolves around a forensics expert (blood splatter analyst) who is also a serial killer, although he has a code of only killing bad people. It's quite good and just addicting enough to make you want to watch the next episode to find out what trouble Dexter can get himself in — and out of.

Super Meat Boy is a challenging platformer, completely remade from the ground up for its release on Wiiware and will feature over 100+ single player levels, insane boss fights, competitive vs modes, beefy co-op play and a slew of unlockables that are rumored to fill your life with great happiness!

Mass Effect is a sci-fi adventure set in a vast universe filled with dangerous alien life forms and mysterious uncharted planets. In ME2, Saren's evil army of Geth soldiers has just been defeated, and humans, who are still struggling to make their mark on the galactic stage, are now faced with an even greater peril. While the X360 version was unaffected, a technical issue has forced Bioware to pull the PC version of the DLC until further notice (thanks Blues).

Replay the events of the first hot war of the Cold War era, the Korean War, also known as the Forgotten War. Players will be involved in two campaigns, both set in the 1950’s: the North Korean (June 25 – Aug 20) and the American (Sept. 15 – Oct. 8) sides.
