Video Games Live, recently enshrined in the Guinness Book of World Records, announces 12 performances throughout the month of July. Each show will be unique and many will be highlighted by special performances, conventions and/or special guests.

In Fairytale Fights, powered by the Unreal Engine 3, players choose one favorite fairytale character with whom they will try and save a fantasy world from certain doom. Luckily many different weapons lay around in this fairytale world, which players can use to shoot and carve up enemies… and this is where the fun begins!

Darksiders: Wrath of War is an action/adventure game that gives players the ability to experience the supernatural destructive power of WAR, one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse, as he explores a demon ravaged world -- seeking revenge and ultimate redemption with a vast array of modern and mythical weaponry.

Madballs...in Babo: Invasion is a gameplay rich, feature laden 'casually hardcore' arena based 3D action shooter, where you're able to design your own combat maps by placing a combination of map tiles to create a never before seen map before gameplay starts. In Avatar Attack gamers will be able to take full control of their custom Avatar as a playable, in-game character.

Fez is a forthcoming platforming game making use of 2D/3D perspective shifts and optical illusions to drive gameplay. Gomez is a 2D man on a voyage of discovery into the mysterious 3rd dimension. 

2K Games is offering a bundle of 20 of its games for $59.99 (and an additional temp. $6 off), an otherwise $229.80 expense. Games included are Sid Meier's Pirates!, Railroad Tycoon 2 and 3, Bioshock, five X-COM titles, Civ. III, Civ. IV (+2 expansions), Civ. IV: Colonization. Freedom Force (+ expansion), Prey, Shattered Union, CivCity: Rome and Sid Meier's Railroads!.

SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny brings back the franchise's weapon-based fighting formula to deliver a robust handheld experience. In Spore: Galactic Adventures fans will experience deeper Space stage gameplay as for the first time space faring creatures will be able to beam down from their spaceships to explore new planets and earn rewards for completing challenging missions. To celebrate the 4th of July holiday, Maxis has released two holiday-themed missions (How a Bill Becomes Law and Kaboom!).

Namco Bandai Games America secured exclusive North American rights to publish future videogames for the anime/manga series, Dragon Ball across all major platforms, including Dragon Ball: Raging Blast (X360/PS3), Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo (Wii), and Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans (NDS).
