'Afrika' (PS3) Finally Coming to North America

Afrika is a next-gen game for the PS3 featuring faithful replications of much of Africa's flora and fauna. Released in Japan last year, National Geographic had announced plans to release it in North America as National Geographic: Africa, but that never seemed to have happened. Natsume has now finally picked up the publishing rights and will release it later this year.

Disney Interactive Studios revealed that its Propaganda studio, known for Turok, is developing Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned, an open-world action/RPG title for PS3, X360 and PC. Not linked to any motion picture, Armada of the Damned features an all-new story that takes place before the movies, putting the player in charge of a new pirate facing moral choices, character building, and a supernatural world as you work your way up the ranks. The game will have you explore hidden coves, mysterious inlets and intriguing islands, travel on both land and sea, with ship-to-ship vastly different from similar titles.
