'Fallout 3' (ALL) Broken Steel DLC Released, But Broken

Fallout 3 places a player in the role of a Vault-dweller, who ventures from his secluded, underground survival Vault into a post-apocalyptic world of mutants, radiation, gangs and violence. The Broken Steel DLC lets you continue the adventure past the main quest by joining the ranks of the Brotherhood of Steel and ridding the Capital Wasteland of the Enclave once and for all. The new DLC is available, but PC users are reporting that the download is broken gand iving a weird cryptographic error, which is confirmed by Bethesda, as they are "looking into it."

Bethesda says a Games for Windows Live DRM issue is to blame, not the actual add-on, so Microsoft is working on it.

In THQ's 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, you play as one of the world's biggest hip-hop stars in an all-out battle to protect 50 Cent's assets and to collect payment from a crooked overlord. At a recent event at the Manhattan Play N Trade store, 50 Cent revealed that, "With the success of this actual project, we'll try to do it again." 50 Cent would like to do a sequel but would also "like to be a part of designing and marketing a video game I'm not actually in. I talked to THQ."

The 1979 classic action movie "The Warriors" was made into a video game in 2005 by Rockstar, and now 30 years after its debut it seems CTXM, known for Heavy Weapon and Feeding Frenzy, are going to adapt the movie into a classic brawler/beat 'em up game.

Maxis Developing Fast-Paced Multiplayer Action Game

Maxis, Will Wright's former studio, known for The Sims franchise and spin-offs, wants to branch out by changing to the online multiplayer genre and tackling action as well. A new job listing (thanks superannuation) reveals that Maxis is looking for an experienced lead designer to help develop a fast-paced multiplayer action game focused on heavy customizability. Experience in the RPG, combat, or card collection game design genre is a plus.
