In the Syphon Filter franchise you assume the identity of Gabe Logan, a highly-trained Precision Strike Operative, commanding a black box United States Agency that legally doesn’t exist. Revealed through PCB Productions, a digital audio recording firm claiming to be doing facial motion capture, Syphon Filter 5 is rumored to be in development at Sony Bend Studios, known for previous installments in the series and most recently Resistance Retribution.

Renegade Kid has issued an update saying that the official name for the title was Son Of The Dragon, but that development has been halted in favor of another new project, but that it hopes to revisit the canned title in the future.
