'Guitar Hero World Tour' (ALL) to Get New Bruce Springsteen Tracks, for Free

Guitar Hero: World Tour will feature guitar, vocals, drums, the ability to create your own songs (and upload them on GHTunes), four-player on/offline co-op, and an eight-player battle of the bands multiplayer mode (4vs4). To celebrate his upcoming "Working On A Dream" album Bruce 'The Boss' Springsteen is going to offer two tracks (My Lucky Day and Born To Run) for free between Jan. 27 and Feb. 4, after which they'll be available as singles on XBL, PSN and the Wii Shop.

The newest Edge issue reveals that Avalanche is not only working on a sequel to Just Cause, but also another open world title what it describes as a mix of "WWI dogfighter pilots, Samurai and medieval knights." Already in development for two years, AionGuard will have you control armies of thousands, and pilot-able dragons as you wage war against the Nazurbaal, who are harvesting the world's magical powers. As you progress through regions, each one will have an enemy stronghold, so you can disrupt supply lines, capture power sources, and befriend local tribes to make your battles easier.

'Tomb Raider: Underworld' (ALL) Lacked Polishing, Says Sacked Creative Director

Tomb Raider: Underworld is an epic adventure game that delivers exploration-based gameplay giving players a new level of challenge and choice as they solve mysteries from exotic locations around the world. Last week, Eidos revealed Tomb Raider: Underworld fell short of internal expectations, making the company's stock drop 25%, followed by the inevitable layoffs at Crystal Dynamics. One of the 30 victims was creative director Eric Lindstrom, who said he wished they could have spent more time polishing Underworld.
