Mushroom Men shows gamers the mundane world from the surreal perspective of a three-inch-high Mushroom Man. Set in a fictional post-apocalyptic Tokyo, survivors attempt to restore the city by defeating demons and solving puzzles. Each player acts as a “Devil Buster.” Success relies on forming an alliance with demons or slaying them. Fans interesting in participating can now sign up for the closed beta, which'll run until Dec. 1, 2008.

SF IV features a mix of returning favorites such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile along with new characters created for this game, such as Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes.

Capcom's Resident Evil 5 is the forthcoming installment in the Resident Evil survival horror series, which will debut for the PS3 and X360, promising to revolutionize the series by delivering an unbelievable level of detail, realism and control. According to MCV updated Q1 2009 release schedule, Capcom continues its PC support, as RE5 is now also listing a PC version.

Crysis Wars is the multiplayer component for Crytek's FPS Crysis Warhead and features three modes, 21 maps, vehicles and more. This v1.1 patch fixes and tweaks a few issues, removes online activation, and adds linux server support.

Castlevania Judgment, produced by Koji Igarashi, is the first fighting title in the franchise, and bridges the past with the present as it pits several generations of the Belmont clan against a host of characters that span the franchise’s 22-year history.

Guitar Hero: World Tour will feature guitar, vocals, drums, the ability to create your own songs (and upload them on GHTunes), four-player on/offline co-op, and an eight-player battle of the bands multiplayer mode (4vs4). Last month Activision issued a statement acknowledging issues with the sensitivity of the drum pads, it has now released the promised tuner to fix the problem.

Red Alert 3 takes players on an epic RTS adventure to an alternate future spawned by time travel run amok, featuring a fully co-operative campaign, the series' light-hearted style and classic, action-oriented gameplay. Earlier this year the PS3 edition was put on ice, but prod. David Silverman revealed in a recent interview that "there's definitely people working on a PS3 version" and that it will be "taking advantage of both the 1080p nature and the high-defness of Blu-ray," basically high res cutscenes.
