Eidos and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC Comics announce Batman: Arkham Asylum, a 3rd-person action game powered by the Unreal Engine 3, with a dark and gritty setting reminiscent of Bioshock.

StarCraft II will feature the return of the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg races, overhauled and re-imagined with Blizzard's approach to game balance, designed to be the ultimate competitive RTS game.

Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon is a Wii exclusive RPG that follows the story of Seto, a young boy tasked to explore various cities in a post-apocalyptic world trying to find out why everyone has disappeared.

Capcom is working on bringing the original Gamecube (based on the 1996 PSOne game) title in the Resident Evil series to the Wii. Currently only scheduled for a late December release in Japan, the port will add no new content or features, apart from making it compatible with the Wiimote controls.

Combining the most exciting aspects of action, fighting and strategy games, Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires for X360 and PS3 was originally planned to make its debut in Japan early 2009, but concerns about quality issues have caused a delay, which is expected to push back the North American and European launch as well.

TrackMania is a hybrid 3D /racing game filled with progressively difficult tracks, and a variety of fascinating competitive modes. TrackMania also allows you to create your own tracks using building blocks such as tunnels, land transitions, signs, turbos, and share them with other users. Nadeo's racing title has turned five, and to celebrate the developers have released a trailer showing off its different iterations, the breaking of a world record, smiles, competition, stunts and a lot of creativity.

SF IV features a mix of returning favorites (Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li etc.) along with new characters created for this game, such as Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes.
