Ankama Games, known for its first MMO DOFUS, starts a new Tactical MMORPG project: Wakfu, featuring bright graphics and a fantasy universe much like its predecessor, even though the development team will be adding many innovations to the tactical gameplay.

Shed as part of Empire Interactive's restructuring last month, Razorworks has been purchased by Rebellion. The 30-strong studio, established in 1996, is most notable for its bestselling Ford Racing series on console and handheld.

The C&C series continues to thrive with Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. As the expansion pack to C&C 3 Tiberium Wars, this RTS game returns to the Tiberium universe with Kane at the center of an epic new single player campaign.

Hungary based developer StormRegion, known for RTS titles such as Codename Panzers and Rush for Berlin, was acquired by German publisher 10tacle Studios in 2007. Due to recent financial troubles of its parent company we may never see the release of Codename: Panzers Cold War, the third installment in the series, as rumors have it that the developer ceased to pay salaries in April 2008, lost all of its employees and was forced to shut it main office in Budapest. StormRegion was also working on a sci-fi turn-based strategy Mytran Wars for PSP for Deep Silver.

In Ignition Entertainment's Tornado, developed by Success, you set out to restore all of Earth's buildings, vehicles, inhabitants and other obscure objects that have been stolen by the envious Prince using his mischievous "Black Hole Device."

Daedalic Entertainment's Edna and Harvey: The Breakout is a new point & click adventure game that will make do without real-time particle effects, parallax occlusion mapping or integrated physics engine.

In an interview with Adventure Classic Gaming, Step Creative Group lead game designer Ilya Chudakov revealed that the Russian developer has shut down again (the previously closed doors in mid 90s) but publisher Akella will continue the localization of SCG's sci-fi adventure game based on the novel by the Strugatsky brothers.

Moto Racer DS will be the first true multi-discipline motorbike game for the NDS. Moto Racer DS features 4 different disciplines: Moto GP, Traffic, Freestyle, and Supercross.The exciting arcade gameplay is now powered by the use of the stylus, and the multi-player mode up to 6 riders using WiFi!

Strategic Command 2: Blitzkrieg, titled Patton Drives East allows players to explore the historically possible what-ifs of WWII. This v1.01 patch makes changes to the game engine and fixes various issues with the editor. The demo still features 3 (turn limited) campaigns but brings the code up to date with the new patch.
