At a press briefing earlier today, Sony's Kazuo Hirai said that it will strengthen its network services, further cut costs to achieve profitability in the current fiscal year. He also announced that by this summer, North American PS3 owners will be able to download and watch movies through their consoles, while the service will be offered in Japan and Europe at later dates.
