One of the most anticipated UT3 features was the possibility of allowing PS3 gamers to import new community content/mods on their consoles. Epic has released an updated version of the tools to "cook" your own content, and transfer it from PC to PS3. This version is up to date for the newest PS3 patch released a few days ago, and requires the v1.2 PC patch installed.

In case suing the
Guitar Hero franchise and
various retailers isn't enough, Gibson has also filed a lawsuit in the Federal District Court in Tennessee against EA, MTV Networks and Harmonix, claiming that Rock Band also infringes on that very same patent. Although Gibson Guitar contacted the parties involved in good faith, it received no reply in a timely manner with an intent to enter into negotiations for a patent license agreement, so there was no alternative but to bring the suit.
