Now that the timeframe has passed Crytek revealed that heavy technical issues have delayed the patch's release within January 2008 instead.

One of the most anticipated UT3 features was the possibility of allowing PS3 gamers to import new community content/mods on their consoles. While user themselves still can't "cook" the content until the official tools are ready, Epic decided to pitch in themselves and pre-cook four new user-created maps, and a mutator.
