High Impact Games is working on a new installment in the Ratchet & Clank series, but this time Clank is going solo. As it has not yet officially been announced details are thin, but in Secret Agent Clank, Ratchet has been imprisoned and you have to clear his name by going all James Bond spy-like.

Last night SEGA gathered the press in San Francisco to announce its multi-title agreement with Platinum Games (former Capcom/Clover developers). While the fourth title remains a secret (by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami), MadWorld (Wii), Bayonetta (PS3/X360), and Infinite Line (NDS) were announced.

An expansion to Warhammer: Mark of Chaos for the PC, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Battle March builds upon the game's tactical foundation to offer new units for each army as well as an original campaign and new online modes. The Xbox 360 version, a standalone game that also include the original content from Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, is scheduled for later this year.

Blast Works: Build, Fuse & Destroy, is a frenetic geometric side-scrolling shooter that lets players craft the game to their liking by building their own levels, ships and enemy ships. In addition, players can absorb the pieces and weapons of destroyed enemy ships to bolster their own defenses during battle.

CBS CEO Leslie Moonves announced that it has agreed to buy online technology news and entertainment company CNet Networks Inc. for about $1.75 billion, which includes News.com, TV.com, Mp3.com, MySimon and GameSpot.

MGS4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a war-torn future where huge conglomerates, including those in the Middle East and South America, fight for supremacy using armies of hand-picked mercenaries.

It has been rumored quite a few times already that while Bungie may be taking a break from the Halo franchise, it doesn't mean a fourth installment is out of the question. On the contrary, Brothers in Arms developer Gearbox Software, who ported the original Halo to PC, is said to be secretly working on Halo 4. According to The Space Oddity the game will be a prequel, possibly titled Halo: Forerunner, and an announcement is to be expected very soon.
