Harvest Moon meets SimCity in John Deere: Harvest in the Heartland, a “hands-on” real-time farming game for the Nintendo DS. The core play mechanic is “Sculpt the Heartland” – Craft virgin soil into a profitable, prize winning, and picturesque farm.

Dead Rising is survival horror game in which you play freelance photographer Frank West who in search for a scoop end us in a zombie infested town. Scandinavian publisher Pan Vision has a product page up for Dead Rising on PC, scheduled for later this year. After being approached, the publisher said that the September 28, 2007, release date was unconfirmed, but the game is scheduled for this year.

For the first time you will have the freedom to define your own character, story and style based on the choices you make, the paths you choose and the style of skating you use on the proving grounds from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, D.C. Activision has released a 1GB playable demo, available on Xbox Live.

Art Guitar's Riff Master Guitar Controller is the first genuine life-sized guitar modified for play with guitar-based games on the PS2. The collector's item, created from the body of a real Peavey guitar, will showcase Art Guitar's unique paintings featuring several mega rock artists including the iconic band KISS, with other artists to follow.

In an interview with Game Informer magazine, Castlevania series creator Koji Igarashi revealed he is working on a new 2D installment for the NDS. Sinking Island is a dark detective adventure story set on a tropical paradise. At a millionaire's hotel a crime is committed, and while the island seems to be sinking for unknown reasons, you, as detective Jack Norm, have to find out who did it.
