Clover Studio Shuts Down

Now here is a surprise! Capcom announced that it will shut down much heralded internal developer Clover Studio. Known for Viewtiful Joe, and more recently the excellent Okami, and just released God Hand, Clover Studio will close its doors March 2007, in what Capcom calls an attempt to improve its global development structure.

Miami Judge Wants A Copy of 'Bully' (PS2)

Miami Court Judge Ronald Friedman instructed Take-Two to get him a copy of Rockstar's upcoming Bully game, so he can play and "judge" for himself if lawyer turned crusader Jack Thompson's claim that the game is a public nuisance holds any merit. The court ordered production of the game by tomorrow at 3pm, for his full review of the game while it is being played, up to or more than 100 hours. Regardless of the ultimate ruling on the injunction, Jack Thompson calls this a huge victory against the violent video game industry. To be continued ...
